Designer's Note

beSeSi's first design brings together the inspiration drawn from our roots with the bold attitude of the future.

The inner structure, symbolizing the timeless elegance of our grandmothers, paired with a modern, fluid outer form, represents an intergenerational transfer.

The vegan leather (Oleatex) made from olive waste—discovered in Istanbul while searching in Paris—and the silky Cupro lining prove that luxury is possible without harming nature.

With its signature six-handle structure, this bag is both respectful of the past, environmentally conscious, and as bold as our motto: "Be Sassy."

Enjoy using it.

Material Philosophy

When Does a Material Age?

A material's quality is not measured by how new it looks. What matters is what it does over time.

Some surfaces wear out. Some get tired. Others simply age.

The materials used in this bag were not chosen to stay perfect, but to change through use.

"This isn't damage. It's a record of where it's been and how it's lived."

The olive-based surface softens with time. Areas touched more often develop a subtle sheen. This isn't damage. It's a record of where it's been and how it's lived.

The cupro lining works differently. You don't notice it with your eyes, but with your hands. It doesn't trap heat, it doesn't resist movement. If the inside of the bag feels more familiar over time, this is why.

There are also decisions you don't immediately see. Like a closure that stays quiet. No metal sound. No demand for attention.

These aren't technical details. They're ways of behaving.

We don't choose materials to show something, but to make something felt.

And that feeling usually doesn't appear on day one, but a little later.

"We continue to research, follow, and explore new materials."

When it comes to raw materials, we choose to look toward the future. Not what is easiest, but what may make more sense over time.
